A project born from the heart and here to stay, represents energy and the conservation of life on Mother Earth, inspired by the sacred figures of the Hopi culture. This collection brings warmth, light, and vitality.

In Hopi culture, Kachinas are life-bearing spirits, each with their own unique personality, appearance and attributes. SunKachina is a sacred figure that embodies the energy and power of the sun. The light that SunKachina projects reminds us of the way the Satori uses light to read and guide our hearts.

For this journey, we travelled to Oaxaca, Mexico, where we collaborated with artist and writer Maya Poon. She tells stories of the earth, ancestral crafts, and indigenous cultures. Through her storytelling, Maya gives voice to the SunKachina collection, capturing its essence.
Just as the Hopi had the sacred responsibility to protect our Earth and its inhabitants, at Satorisan we are dedicated to protecting you, starting with your feet.

Inspired by the sensation of walking barefoot, we designed this collection of closed shoes and sandals to respect the foot’s natural posture, providing both freedom and protection for the toes.

Inspired by Hoote, the guardian of the Kachina ceremonies and abundant harvests, this design celebrates the connection to the earth and the beauty of nature. Its details pay homage to traditions of functionality, comfort, and creativity, reimagining the original clogs designed for fieldwork.
Hatko, the Kachina that brings wood, inspires this model, which pays tribute to the classic skate shoes of the 1970s. The XXL eyelets and the long, unique laces give it a semi-formal style and a unique personality. The SunKachina construction and its unique width result in a distinctive, singular volume. Made from a combination of linen/cotton and suede, this sneaker is fresh and extremely soft.
